What is New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation serves as the main introduction and welcome to the University of Alberta for new students.

The program eases the transition to university life by delivering important content through presentations, panels, and campus tours. While attending New Student Orientation, you will be able to pickup your ONEcard (your student ID). New Student Orientation creates connections between new students, as well as to upper year student leaders.

When is New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation happens from September 2-4, 2023. The day will run from 9am-3:00pm. You will be attending one of the three days listed. When you sign up for orientation, you will select the date of your choice.

What do I do after registering?

After registering for New Student Orientation, please watch for updates from your UAlberta email. Throughout the summer, you will receive important updates about your orientation schedule and programming. In the meantime, check out our online eClass page!
