This is your leadership

Guided by a collective of student leaders on the Students' Council and the dedicated Executive team, the UASU aims to be the voice of the student body and actively addresses the diverse needs of students by offering valuable services and support, alongside impactful advocacy efforts.

Each year, undergraduate students vote in students to represent them as Executives of the UASU, one President and four Vice-Presidents. These executives set the vision and priorities of the UASU, from how to fight for tuition affordability to what different businesses and services will be there for you to make things a little bit nicer. Each department of your UASU carries out the organization goals and vision set by your executives.

Students' Council's voting members—five full-time Executives and up to nineteen faculty representatives—are elected by the student body. Council's role is to guide the UASU's budget, strategic direction, bylaw framework, and policy priorities. Council has oversight over the work of the Executive Committee, ensuring that the UASU remains student-led and student-accountable.
