What are Dedicated Fees?
Dedicated fees are those created by a referendum stating a specific use for the funds collected. Referendums can be initiated by any student member of the union and don't have to be something that is associated the UASU, if the membership of the student body votes to adopt the proposed fee, those results become binding. Some of these fees are administered internally by the Students’ Union, while others are dispersed to third party groups commonly known as Dedicated Fee Units.
In addition to dedicated fees, there are sometimes fees for your faculty Student Representative Associations or Residence Associations. Check out the complete list of fees.
