Fall Clubs Fair
Fall Clubs Fair is the hub of Student Group recruitment and promotion. Come by during Week of Welcome and find out why!
Each year, Fall Clubs Fair takes place over on the Main Quad during Week of Welcome! Join us in the WoW Village, home of games, Beer Gardens, and of course, Student Group Recruitment Headquarters for the start of the school year!
How to join Fall Clubs Fair:
Sign up for tabling shifts during Week of Welcome - All shifts are now booked! Read how your group can still be involved through Walk-Up shifts below.
Be sure to pay for your tabling shifts before August 15th by credit card, cash, or cheque. Note; Once your payment has been processed, you will not be able to edit your reservation without first gaining approval from SGS. Please contact us for support.
The location of your Student Group at Fall Clubs Fair will change each day! Be sure to check in with SGS staff before each tabling shift.
Before attending Fall Clubs Fair at least one member of each Student Group must read the Fall Clubs Fair information packet and complete the accompanying quiz.

Other parties interested in getting involved with Fall Clubs Fair are encouraged to contact the following:
- University departments can contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get a table spot at Clubs Fair.
- Organizations external to the university can contact email@example.com to get a table spot at Clubs Fair.
All registered student groups will be permitted to pick up additional Clubs Fair shifts through our "Walk-up" process. Please note that student groups are permitted one table per shift.
If your student group is Frozen, your group will be permitted to table at Clubs Fair, by claiming a "walk-up" spot only.
30 minutes after the start of each shift at Fall Clubs Fair, any unoccupied tables will be given to student groups waiting for a place at the fair on a first-come, first served basis.
Walk-up Shifts will become available at the Student Group Services Sign-in Table at:
- 10:30 AM for morning shifts ending at 12:50 PM
- 1:30 PM for afternoon shifts ending at 4 PM
NOTE: Full-day table shifts will not be guaranteed for walk-ups.

What is Earlybird pricing?
If you sign up for Fall Clubs Fair tabling shifts before May 31, 2018 each shift will be $15 and $25 for a full day. If you sign up for tables between June 1 and July 31, it will cost $17.50 for each shift and $30 for a full day.
Why do we have to pay for a tabling spot?
Fees for Clubs Fair help to cover the cost of equipment rental -- the tents that keep the weather at bay, the tables for group displays, and all of that! The actual cost of these rentals is highly subsidized already, so we just need the little extra from groups to ensure we can have the best event possible! This also ensures that groups will show up to the event: we can't have Clubs Fair without clubs!
How can I pay for my registration?
You have two options: either pay with a credit card during your registration order, or select "cheque" on the registration form to pay with a student group cheque in person. Please note that we will not accept personal cheques. Student group bank accounts must have dual signing authority, so student group cheques with only one signature will also not be accepted.
Help! I don't know if my registration went through. How can I check that you received it?

Will tables be assigned in advance? How will I know where my group's table is at the Fair?
The map for Clubs Fair will be confirmed in the last week of August, internally. We will have the finalized lists available at Clubs Fair check-in each day, and will not be announced in advance. Make sure you (and the other members of your group that will be recruiting) come to check in with SGS Staff at the start of your time slot on each day of Clubs Fair.
