Your Campus Connection
Interested in participating in local theatre? Walterdale Theatre is looking for people excited about theatre to join their Front of House volunteers! Positions available are Front of House Manager, Box Office and two Concession Volunteers:
Front of House Manager
Prepares the theatre lobby before patrons arrive and coordinates the front of house team.
Box Office Volunteer
Greets patrons, checks names off against a pre-sold ticket list, and sells tickets to patrons using Square.
Prepare and sell pop, water, juice, coffee, wine and beer as well as any candy we may offer. Anyone serving alcohol will need to have an active PROSERVE certificate. If you have not completed this, but would like to, just let the Volunteer Coordinator know.
Walterdale Theatre, at over 60 years old, is one of Western Canada’s oldest amateur theatre groups. With the exception of a paid part-time Administrator, Walterdale Theatre is operated entirely by volunteers with a love of theatre.
Interested volunteers can contact the Volunteer Coordinator and FOH Co-Directors at email@example.com for more information. If you would like to know more about the Walterdale Theatre, please visit walterdaletheatre.com.
Upcoming shows include The Glace Bay Miners' Museum (October 19-29), A Fitting Confusion (December 7-17), The Mousetrap (February 8-18th), From Cradle to Stage (March 9-12), The Penelopiad (May 3-13), and Austentatious (July 12-22).
