CCI-LEX provides ESL classes for landed immigrants, refugees, and citizens of Canada. Our mission is to promote personal growth for adult learners through English language instruction and the exchange of cultural knowledge
Fluent in English & have clear pronunciation
Great computer skills ( for online teaching)
Ready to teach a 2/3 hour class a week (online and/or in-person)
Able to commit for minimum 6 months
Familiar with good volunteer practice
Applicants will meet with our team to learn more about the process and complete a formal interview. Reference check and police information check are also part of the screening process.
Successful applicants will then complete three observation sessions and two team-teaching sessions with experienced instructors.
