Description:

Gallery Interpreters are the heart of the science experience at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton. As an interpreter, you will catalyze our guests' curiosities and spark a lifelong love of science for many of our guests. By facilitating hands-on experiences, you will encourage them to explore, be curious, solve problems, ask questions, and discover new things.

In S.P.A.C.E. (Stars, Planets, Astronauts, Comets, etc.). you will take guests to the edge of the known universe. Working in the Command Centre, you will teach guests how to identify a meteorite, launch marbles into a gravity well, launch rockets, and much more. This is an ideal landing spot for a volunteer seeking a stellar experience.

Shifts:
• Weekend Shifts (Sat, Sun, & Holidays): 10:00 am - 1:30 pm OR 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm

TELUS World of Science – Edmonton (TWOSE) is located in amiskwacîwâskahikan in Treaty Six Territory and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. We are the destination to engage Albertans’ hearts and minds in science, with a mission to ignite curiosity, inspire discovery, celebrate science, and change lives.

Our guests are diverse and so are we. TWOSE is deliberate in building a culture that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Science is for everyone, and we need team members with diverse perspectives, identities, abilities, and expressions. As such we encourage Black, Indigenous, and racialized peoples, persons living with disability and neurodiversity, women, sexual and gender minorities, and members of all minority groups to apply.
