SU Awards: Recognizing students who make outstanding contributions to the campus community.
The Awards Adjudication Committee selects the recipients of the Students' Union Awards. It allows students to recognize and reward the outstanding achievements of their peers.
If you are interested in this great opportunity to get involved in your Students' Union, please look over the following criteria to ensure you are eligible. When you are ready to apply, please email your resume and a short explanation of why you are interested to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Being on a committee looks great on the resume, gives you experience working and collaborating with others, and allows you to get to get to know your campus better.
Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate students at the University of Alberta.
Selected members of the committee cannot have applied to the Awards program, nominated another student or professor, or written reference letters for any of the applicants.
All members of the committee must abide by the rules and regulations set by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The information discussed and reviewed is strictly confidential and cannot be shared outside of the Adjudication meeting times.
