Are you passionate about Fundraising? Do you love planning fundraising events? Are you familiar with running raffles and bingos? Does the idea of working and supporting independent adults with autism sound exciting and inspiring?
Autism Independent Living Association (AiLA) is a not for profit organization in the Edmonton area who is comprised of adults with autism and their family and allies. Our vision is to create an intentional supportive housing community in the Edmonton area for adults who require minimal support and are able to live independently in the community.

Role and Responsibility:
To help build support for AiLA from individuals and groups by building relationships, organizing fundraising activities and searching for new fundraising opportunities.
Requirements:
1.Commitment to the work of the organization.
2.Prepare a report for monthly board meetings.
3.Previous fundraising experience including raffles, bingos, casinos.
4.Able to commit to approximately 4 to 8 hours a month, hours may vary and are flexible.
Term:
The board of AiLA appoints the coordinator. Coordinators serve for a 1-year term and can be extended.
General duties:
1.Help to develop AiLA’s Fundraising Committee.
2.Coordinate the activities of the Fundraising Committee.
3.Research local funding opportunities.
4.Coordinate and organize other volunteers to help with fundraising activities.
5.Establish links with local businesses.
6.Generate ideas for events and other fundraising initiatives.
7.Maintain a fundraising database of donors and supporters.
